The Studio Model

We build companies.
Not decks. Not reports.

The eBasket Africa studio model combines capital, talent, and technology to originate and build new ventures from the ground up — sharing equity with the co-founders we recruit along the way.

Studio vs. fund
We don't wait for founders. We build the company ourselves.
Traditional venture capital waits for founders to come with ideas. We don't. We identify the opportunity ourselves, validate the thesis, recruit the right operator, and build the company together — meaning lower risk, faster execution, and more alignment between capital and operations than a typical investment relationship.
We are technology-first and sector-agnostic, building wherever we see durable demand, defensible economics, and a team capable of winning in the African market.
In addition to building new ventures, we offer Innovation Consulting and Go-to-Market Strategy services to corporates and institutions who want to leverage our studio expertise without building a full venture.
